Our Journey From Jackson to AJ Bridal Company
AJ Bridal Company began more than six decades ago as The Andrew Jackson, a men’s clothing store located at Main Street and High Street in Jackson, Missouri.
Situated across from the courthouse, the store became a familiar local destination for fine men’s clothing and formalwear.
In the early 1990s, following a change in ownership, the business transitioned into a bridal and formalwear boutique.
In 2012, Athena and Justin Albright purchased the store and began the next chapter of its growth.
The business later expanded and moved to a larger location on North Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau.
In 2020, the store returned to a downtown setting at its current location at Broadway and Pacific streets, near Southeast Missouri State University.
Another Step Forward
In October 2024, AJ Bridal Company opened its second location in Kirkwood, Missouri.
The Kirkwood bridal shop brought the company’s personalized service, designer wedding dresses, and formalwear experience to brides and wedding parties throughout the St. Louis area.
With the addition of the second location came a new name. The Andrew Jackson Bridal Company became AJ Bridal Company, preserving the history of the business while reflecting its continued growth.
