There’s a lot of history here.
The Andrew Jackson began over 60 years ago as a men’s clothing store at the corner of Main St. and High St. in Jackson, MO. Situated directly across from the courthouse, it became a well-known fixture, offering fine fashions to gentlemen for decades.
In the early 1990s, with a change in ownership, the store transitioned from a men’s clothier to a bridal and formal wear boutique.
In 2012, Athena and Justin Albright purchased the store, later expanding and moving to a larger location on North Kingshighway in nearby Cape Girardeau.
Looking to return to a classic downtown setting while preserving the expanded footprint, in 2020 the store was moved to its present location at the corner of Broadway & Pacific St. in Cape Girardeau, near Southeast Missouri State University.

Another step forward…
In October 2024, we opened our second location. Situated in beautiful Kirkwood, MO, this easy-to-access storefront is centrally located in the heart of metro St. Louis.
With the second location came a subtle name change. The Andrew Jackson Bridal Company became AJ Bridal Company, preserving our rich history while embracing an exciting future of growth.
